Hi All,
Trying to find the easiest method of reviewing pictures using my Samsung Q1 ultra pc.
I have decided that when I take photos at the wedding in Cyprus they will be in RAW. This basically to ensure I can make the best out of the pictures.
Just installed the Capture NX software that came with the D300 but as I expected it is so slow on the Q1 that it is pointless.
For those that don't know the Q1 has a CF card slot so is ideal for reviewing and when I take pictures in JPEG they review very simply using the Windows Picture Viewer. However the RAW files are only shown as very low resolution images in MS review.
The only way I have found at the moment is to save the images as JPEG and RAW, but this obviously takes even more space! At the moment this is how many images I am getting out of a 4 GB CF card:
Raw: 197
Raw + basic: 173
Raw + Norm: 155
Raw + Fine: 128
So Raw and basic may be the only way unless you have any ideas.
Regards
Chris
