Hi, This is my first post, hope I've put in the right place :)

I have a Nikon D80 and previously had a cannon 350D.

But my question/problem is, when I shoot in RAW format, the image suffers noise, this has happend on both cameras, so wonder if there is a cure that I don't know of, or is it normal?

Thanks :)

Can you be more specific ie, what conditions your shooting in and what settings are you using, ie if your using high iso settings in low light you will get noise.

:thankyou: I think you just cured my problem by that question

The pictures I was concered about were shot indoors and prior to shooting i was playing with ISO settings and left ISO set at 1600...oops

I will try experimenting with ISO settings in RAW.

Thanks, I think that is probably what I was doing
