RAW in Photoshop CS3 - Problem

I was in the process of going through some images from a photoshoot yesterday. My missus went to search for something on the net but didn't realise my Photoshop window was active (I have dual monitors) and started typing and pressed spce bar a couple of times. Now everytime I open RAW files, not all of them but most have red splodges on them and very in position and size. When saved as JPEG they are fine but it is annoying me.

Any idea how to remove this?

Highlight warning you can turn it off by clicking on the blue triangle in the top right of the histogram
Or leave it and move the recover slider till its gone and you know you not clipping the whites

Its a use full tool click on the left ttringel to see any black with no info in you get blue on the photo

Geebs,

You should find this on your camera too. Highlight and shadow warning. If you can get a perect exposure you shouldnt get any of this. If you shoot in RAW (and I can see you are doing) then you get a second 'bite of the cherry' in post processing to try and correct over or under exposure.

I'm not an expert, but the main things I use the RAW converter for is to correct the exposure if necessary (use the exposure slider to remove highlight - burnout - if possible) and to correct the white balance.

Different versions of the software allow you to do this and other things but these I find are most useful.
