Beginner Raw files. Advise.

I was going to post my very first pics, they are RAW files, they are in my folder and I can see them but when it comes to putting them on here the folder is blank.
What do I do about that.
 
To upload to the site you'll need to convert them to JPEG (.jpg) files as RAW files aren't supported :)
 
Thank you so much for your help, so here is the very first pic from my DSLR adventure.
No brilliant or interesting really just a practice.
Just need to play around with the settings and edit tools.

There is a bit of a learning curve with raw, but the beauty is you have a bit more "wiggle" room if you get it wrong in camera with colour or exposure, and we all get it wrong now and again. :)

In the RAW edits try pulling the white & highlight adjustments down a bit to see if there is enough detail to recover the whites on the boat, after that may be a touch of Contrast (+) and Saturation (+) to bring out a bit more from the image, have fun (y)
 
Remember, if you are using NX Studio it will apply all the camera settings so you may not have to do much editing if the camera settings are OK.
Have a play and see what all the adjustments do but also have a play with the picture controls in NX Studio, a quick way to get to a good starting point for edits. You can set them on the camera or later in NX Studio
