i have an olympus E volt and it produces the raw format ORF..and a jpeg if i let it
i have rawshooter essentials which doesnt recognise this...?:shake:

since i am only wanting to try out RAW....
can anyone recommend a freebie which i can compare with the results of my jpeg in pp

I don't think raw shooter will "see" dng (could be wrong) the later versions might as they were part of Adobe.
You could try downloading a trial version of photoshop elements (or the full version) and give it a try.

i have downloaded it and windows raised a 'must close down and send an error report'...sort of crash
will try again

it doesnt like my shots and error report keeps coming up
will try some other types tomorrow
