Rar file opener

I think you can get a trial version of winrar. After a month or so it keeps asking to buy but works fine, you just get the pop up message.

So is winrar. I've had it installed for years. You just bypass the pop up.
7zip is probably the best program in terms of performance and file sizes. I'm quite happy using winrar as I am used to it :)
 
Thanks everyone, i tried the 7zip one, but i must have got on wrong site, it came with a threat on my antivirus, so that is why i came to ask here.
 
These winrar say the same, effecting chrome????
 
I hope you didn't pay for Winrar, it is not free the last time i checked.

while winrar is good, 7 zip is far better...used to use winrar as had a licensed copy then became out of date and now using 7 zip for free :)
 
7zip is all you'll need as it's free and very good, personally use Winrar though (bought* over 10 years ago and still entitled to the latest edition today :) )

* just checked the registration email, it was v3!

Got the trial copy, tried 7zip but I tried downloading from softonic, but my anti virus stopped it saying a threat
 
When the trial period ends a pop up appears. Just press cancel and it goes away.

Try downloading 7zip from the official website which I linked to in post 4 of this thread
