Random rally question

I caught on Motors TV the other day some rally racing (in the UK) where about 6 rally cars race around a mock-up dirt circuit. There were different classes including small hatch backs to full on ex-WRC cars.

Basically, my question is does anyone know the name for this type of racing (so I can google it) and where are the tracks and dates around the country? Really interested in anything in the Midlands but also some general info would be useful.

do you mean Rallycross, also sometimes called RallyX ?

Use to be the only place to see the old Group B rally cars but don't think anyone races any these days.

Rallycross - Croft (Yorkshire), Pembrey (Wales), Lydden Hill (Kent) are the regulars. Mondello Park in Ireland.

Brands Hatch used to hold races, not sure if they still do.
