I have a ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2 motherboard.
I went to Corsair's website, used its 'Memory Finder' check, picked from the drop down list the motherboard I have. It then displayed a some of the memory supposed to be comparable for the 990FX including Vengeance Pro Series.
But I click on it to read more about it, but it kind of brag about being designed for 3rd and 4th Generation Intel, the compatibility listing under the specifications ever said that. http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/vengea...dram-1866mhz-c9-memory-kit-cmy16gx3m2a1866c9r so I just can't understand this: If Corsair's Memory Finder picked this production based on my informing it of the 990FX, then why do the production's page fail to mention it is also compatible for the 990FX as well as 3rd and 4th generation Intel?
Is the Memory Finder check right and they failed to mention that its also compatible for 990FX or is the Memory Finder wrong and that if it did not mention being compatible for the 990FX, it means it is not?
