I've just received the June copy of Practical Photography and noticed a full page advert for a railway event at the National Railway Museum in York.
Railfest 2nd-10th June.
The website is:
www.nrm.org.uk/railfest2012
http://www.nrm.org.uk/~/media/Files/NRM/PDF/railfest2012.pdf
Looking on the website, there is a Special photo event:
4 June (6.30pm 8.30pm) and 5 June (7am 9am)
£50 for the photo event.
"Get up-close snaps at these exclusive sessions. See locomotives being fired up and in light steam. Steps/other access equipment will be removed to ensure the best shots. Numbers are limited to 400 people, so youll avoid the hustle and bustle of the daytime event. Refreshments will be available for purchase."
Thought this might be of interest to some of you out there.
