Hi all, i have a small issue with radio triggers and strobes and i wonder if someone can help.
Basically, i'm using a transmitter on camera via a hotshoe adapter pc sync port, this triggers a combination of studio strobes, and a pair of 430ex guns. I'm also using a radio shutter release to set off the camera.
The problem is, if i use the radio shutter release to fire the camera instantly, the strobes won't fire - but if i set it to fire the camera after 4 seconds, they do. the camera is set below max sync speed. There is a button on the receiver of the shutter release (connected by a short cord) which when pressed, fires the camera instantly, and the strobes work also - it's only using the transmitter on instant release, the strobes do not fire.
EDIT - I've recently noticed that if i fire the camera with it's own shutter button, and then try a shot with the radio trigger - it works (although not every single time) - but only for 1 shot
can anyone advise what the problem might be?
