Anyone else see this on the Beeb website today. Check the Radio times from the week you were born. Seemingly on Oct 1st 1957 you could relax to the comedic talents of Jimmy Edwards in Whacko, A nest of Singing birds from the lodging of Professor Meldrum of King's College o_O and Alicia Markova Anneliese Bothenberger in Music for you :arghh: Such choice :)

And before anyone asks no, there is no Walking Dead

Quite interesting that :)

Friday 17th October 1975, at 10:45am on BBC1 there was 'You and Me', Jackanory at 16:35, Blue Peter (with Valerie Singleton) at 17:00, and at 10:45pm it was Film 75 with Barry Norman, where he reviewed Woody Allen comedy 'Love and Death' and 'The Fortune' starring Jack Nicholson and Warren Beatty.

Love it. On the day I was born, on the Light Programme we had ...

8.30 ... Rise and Shine - Bright and cheery music on gramophone records
10.00 ... Leslie Bailey's Log Book - A journey through Britain with a recording machine .... and at ...
11.00 ... Have a Go - with Wilfred Pickles, followed by ...
12.00 ... Family Favourites.

How times have changed. Thanks for sharing ...
