Well, sadly Simon Mayo is now going to leave his drive time show. There is much kerfuffle about this, sniping at his co-presenter...but he left a previous show after 8 years and is having a book made into a series in Australia so, good luck to him. I used to have a laugh over the confessions. I do, however, wish that Jeremy Vine would move on.

I agree about Jeremy Vine. He is possibly the most annoying person I’ve ever heard on the radio. My radio goes off during his show.

If you've not heard, Chris Evens is off to Virgin after Christmas, Zoe Ball is taking over his slot,
That gobby Northern bird thought she was getting it going on things she said after it was announced he was leaving, when she stood in for him awhile back ..
I'm seriously glad she didn't get it!

I gave Chris Evens a chance after sir Tel left and it worked out OK, I'll give Zoe a chance, but I'm not convinced that she is right person for the job.

I’d prefer Sara Cox to Zoe Ball any day, each to their own I guess. I guess it’s a choice between Cox and Balls :)

BTW I guess you agree about the gobby bit as you got it in one :D

And as for the "its all about me" female on the early show .... :rolleyes:

Looks like it'll be pop master and that's about it from me ;)
 
I would have preferred Sarah cox over Zoe ball for the morning.

Not particularly upset by evening show changes, even now they don’t seem a comfortable pairing to me.

(only normally get to hear breakfast show and sometimes drive time due to routine).

You must leave the radio switched off until at least 5pm... Steve Wright was great when I was young and juvenile. Now that I am nearly 50 and still juvenile he irritates me intensely... The guests on the show were fab, as were Barry from Watford and Elvis, but Serious JockinG is grating....

DriveTime really lost it when Matt Williams left, too masculine apparently... his outbursts were funny, and I couldn;t wait for Dr Mosh :BOOM!:

So does mine, but its not Jeremy Vine that annoys me but the winging, disgusted from Tunbridge wells, that participate.

and theres the rub, I listen when I'm driving, because they are so ridiculously funny :D
 
R6Music for me, although Mrs Nod's cars lack the DAB option so I'm stuck with R2 for the 15 minutes it takes me to collect her or the exhaust note in the MX-5. Try to avoid Mr Daily Mail's show if I can - he annoys the cr@p out of me!
