I have had an Epson R800 for several years now and its seen a fair bit of use. I've been having a bit of trouble with it over the last 18 months with head alignment and blocked nozzles but always managed to get it going again, albeit at the cost of a fair bit of ink cleaning the heads.
However the other day it jammed and it looks as if the heads are permanently misaligned. So I need a replacement printer.
The R800 is still available but it first came out in 2004 and I was wondering what recommendation folks had regarding a replacement.
I don't really need to print bigger than A4. Even if I enter the local camera club completions I don't feel the need to print bigger.
Any advice gratefully received
Regards
