R2880 Help

Hi all, ive got a EpsonR2880 printer ive had it for over a year and use a cis system with it, love the prints it gives me, i havent done alot of printing for a while and now the cyan has blocked up in the printer head i think, tried to clear it with the usual ways through the printer software, also got some bullet cleaner and tried it twice but still the same. Was wondering if anyone knew of a good place that will be able to repair it?

I have the same printer but only use genuine inks and never turn it off. Most photographic dealers will know who to contact, However, if you give Epson a call, they may know of someone in your area. Always good to use the printer regularly. I have a type sheet with a;ll the colours and run it every 2 weeks if I am not printing photos. It saves clogging.

I used CleverClogs from Permajet on my R2880 when I was in your situation. Took 2-3 go's though.

Keep searching Google using phrases like Epson blocked heads etc. Some people on the various photo forums were flushing through with warmed up cleaning fluid, leaving cleaning fluid soaked pads on the heads etc. Don't have a specific link, just noticed them when I was researching an issue with my own r2400 a few weeks ago.
