Yes
Carrying your lenses with no bag, no rear caps, no second body - how good!

"The holder start in a locked vertical position, and to attach a lens you just bayonet it into place, securing the glass and allowing the holder to be lowered. To liberate that fresh prime, you tilt it up and give it a twist, freeing it and locking the carrier in the "ready" position at the same time. "

(apologies if this has already been posted, I did search)

Good idea, definitely makes everything more accessible and close to hand.

But I see it being one for dry weather and dirt-free zones.... moisture and dirt on the quickdraw plate would wreak havoc with lenses that were interchanged

Tis true. Perhaps a tool for indoors. Could always keep it under your coat though!

The idea seems excellent, but I'd like to see it, in a real world application before committing any of my hard earned cash.

Seems like a good idea but I would be worried about how secure they would be as well as the wet/dirt issue.

Not great for a two camera carrier, you have them hanging down on your waist so they would clash.

I'd like some variation where it hangs central or around the chest or something

I'm sure you could have it wherever Joe, I think it's just on a belt. If it was in the central position people would REALLY think you were compensating for something...

It's probably as secure as a bag I reckon, it needs lifting up to the pointing outwards position to remove the lens.

You could always use a body cap to solve the wet/dirt issue but would slow you down a little.

The main problems I can see are:
- It may not take a large diameter lens, or lens with wide hood.
- Seems a little awkward to put on and remove lenses. Even with the practice and multiple takes those guys had...
- Looks a little silly.
- Lenses are vulnerable to knocks.
- Expensive.

Personally a bag suits me... nice warm pouch to store my gear.

I'm not sure it's the most practical thing, but it's definitely a good idea.
I can see that there might be some dust and weather issues, but I'm also thinking how many lenses it can carry and that weight this will be.

Say a super wide zoom, standard zoom and a couple of telephotos. That's going to weigh quite a bit.
Or alternatively a wide prime, 50mm prime, longer prime and a telephoto prime. Also a lot of weight. I'm thinking that it's target market are going to be using an awful lot of lenses.

If its for someone who might have an extra lens. I'm not sure they are looking for the ultra fast quick change and probably a bag will suffice...
