Quick sigma 10-20 canon mount question, EF or EF-S?

I have this lens, now I know its for a crop sensor, and says it should only be used on a crop camera, however the actual mounting mechanism, is it EF or EF-S ? Im guessing its EF as it has the red dot and no additional 'step' sticking out the back of the lens.

Basically would it work on a canon 10D which is EF only, yet 1.6crop ? Id imagine it would :thinking:, what about a Tamron 17-50 Lens ? Again a crop lens, but what appears a EF mount ?
 
The warehouse express site states that the sigma mount is EF-S.

If that helps?
 
I thought it was an EF mount but its only suitable for cropped sensors eg 400d/40d.
 
The 10-20 is a Sigma "DG" type, designed for crop sensors....

It is "DC" (Digital crop) which is designed for crop sensors (which this lens is), "DG" is optimised for full frame digital (has extra coatings not on non-DG lenses)

You can actually mount this on cameras that only accept EF (like the 5D, I own a 10-20 and have done it) but it has HUGE vignetting.

On topic: Both lenses you said will work on the 10D with no problems what-so-ever

Sorry, I meant "DC"... The good news is that my 24-70 is a "DG" lens, so I'll not have to upgrade when I go to full frame (Yipee!)
