Quick Quiz - What Have I Done?

Congrats mate. Am I just remembering an episode of the Simpsons (I think), or is it really customary for the chap who gets the hole in one, to buy everyone a drink in the bar afterwards.

Renee wins the prize  - Well she would if I had one (sorry) - Any donations to help with my bar bill would be greatfully received though  - There was a record turnout for the weekly "roll-up" today - 32 (I kid you not!) so it cost me six bottles of red in the 19th :bonk: - It was actually a good shot although the hole wasn't visible from the tee so we didn't see it go in - I'm getting hammered now to celebrate :woot:
Paul

Congrats Sir - How many treees did it bounce off :)

Marcel - You're right that is the custom & it always puzzled me that you hit a once in a lifetime shot (or twice in mine so far in 45yrs!) and YOU are expected to buy everyone else a drink! :cuckoo:
I mentioned above that it cost me six bottles of red as there were 32 of us playing on the day
Looking forward to boring everyone at work about it today hehe
Paul ;)

My husband was suitably impressed and gave you a big thumbs up. Hope your head is ok today.

Nice one Paul! I've got my first game of the year this Friday and can't wait!

As you can see above no trees chewy :nono: - Here's how the website describes the hole "Hole 11 165 Yards Par 3 - Innocuity personified from the address position, but the tee shot must have the length to climb up on to a contoured green between two well used bunkers" - or "smash a 9 iron into the hole" as I did
