Hi Guys,

Quick question, I have the Canon 100-400 MKI paired with the 7D MKI, can I use this combination with a 1.4x or 2x extender? If yes, would it be at the expense of autofocus?

Photographing BSB/WSBK/MotoGP at various tracks around the country. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

There are reports of the 1.4 working but when I had the same combo of lens and camera I could never get it to work( autofocus). Its f8 with a 1.4* and f11 with a 2*

dont bother, it will be a waste of time. Crop instead.
