So decided about time I got this sorted. Ss I mainly use Manfrotto seems reasonable to match everything. Now with latest purchase I can put a camera/camcorder onto any tripod without messing about changing plates. Should have done this a long time ago, the time saved swapping over is only a few seconds as shown in the video above . I chose manfrotto because the plates clamps are also have a catch so they don't fall out.
