Been using CS at college, and ive got CS4 at home. Here are the instructions that ive got to catch up on last weeks work
Start by creating a new document, go to File > New and set up the document to the size you require. Bear in mind the photo frame sizes you wish to use for the end product. For this montage l have used width 10 in and height 8 in and l have set the resolution to 300 ppi.
The first image we use will be one that we will nominate as the background of our montage.
From the File Browser navigate to Lesson 7 and open the image Train 1.
Using the Move tool, drag this image on to your new document and rename the layer. Close the Train 1 image.
Basically, in CS after you have created the new doc then open the selected image you can use use the move tool and drag the image on to your new document. But in CS4 there is no file browser and after ive made the new doc then open the image CS4 opens it in a new tab and you cant seem to move the image to the new document that you have created.
Could someone tell me a way round this please?
