Hello,

So it's fathers day Sunday and i'm looking for a present for my dad (yes i know i've left it until the last minute).

He's always wanted to do astro photography, so looking at getting him a remote timer.

I don't know much about astro photography but found this one:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ex-Pro-MC-...004AL37L4/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

Anyone cast their eye over it to see if it will be suitable for astro photography?

Thanks!

Looks OK to me. I have something that looks almost identical for my Canon DSLR. It enables me to take long timed exposures and/or multiple exposures for subsequent stacking (eg for very long star trails or meteor showers).

Though unless you can find one in a shop somewhere (i.e. not online), you might have left it just a tad too late for Fathers Day....
