I'm about to list my Nikon D90 (body only) - very good condition and boxed with all the bits. UK model, purchased in October 2008 with less than 1700 actuations.

What do you think would be a realistic price?

Thanks,

Steve

£525 sounds about right, seeing as a couple of D300's have popped up here recently for £700 and £740 and not shifted that quickly..

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated. :)

Phil - really enjoying using it so far. Only really played with it with the Sigma 50mm; waiting for my other lenses to be sold before wading in for more lenses.

come on show us some pics! I've mainly been using the Sig 50mm f/1.4 and 70-200VR, might look at a 24-70 at some point but for now these two + 1.4 TC cover everything I need...

I pretty much just use primes on my D700 lately.

Sigma 50mm f/1.4, Nikkor 28mm f/2.8 AI-S, Nikkor 55mm f/2.8 Micro, and Nikkor 300mm f/4 AF-S.

I'm going to try to force myself to use the 24-70 more, I've had the lens 3 months and I've taken less than 10 pictures with it! I was just reaching for my primes, or my 28-75!

I'm just loving the the Sig 50mm on the D700 at the minute, the results blow me away (even in my very amateur hands) - I might have a look for a 28mm f/2.8 or an 35mm F/2 at some point too...

The wife took some studio portrait pics yesterday with her 28-300mm Tamron VC ;), I might give that a go too on the D700 - really am surprised just how good this lens is!

I've been considering the 35mm f/2 - if I do get it I think I'll hold off the short zoom for now. I'm thinking 35mm/50mm/85mm in addition to my Tamron 90mm.

On the longer side I'm considering purchases of the Nikon 180mm f/2.8 and Nikon 300mm f/4 - but they're likely to be next year tbh.

I'm waiting until I sell all the DX bits first. I've been looking at lighting and backdrops....lots to take in. Don't really want to spend more than £600ish on it tbh.
