I have been looking at the Essential photo website and have seen the PIXAPRO® Li-ION580 ITTL Speedlight, here https://www.essentialphoto.co.uk/pr...ith-rechargeable-battery-and-high-speed-sync/ does anyone know what the Godox equivalent is ? as I can't seem to find anything online, normally I can match the Godox up with the rebranded ones but not for this one.

Also if you look at their 360 ITTL kit, it would seem to indicate that the receiver is built in, as the kit is only showing the trigger and not a receiver which for a kit wouldn't make sense, I was on the understanding that the Godox Witstro AD360II-N TTL (the equivelant) never had the built in receiver, unless I've missed something.

I like the look of the Godox kit, and am seriously considering selling my flash kit and going down the Godox/equivalent route, as I like the fact everything works together with their kit, so just trying to get some feedback on it all. Many thanks in advance

I bought my Godox kit after seeing the Lencarta version of the 360 at Garry Edwards open day a couple of years back and I now have 2 x 360's, 1 x 180's and 2 x V850's and use them more than I use all my Bowens kit.

I bought them as a portable solution and they have been on model shoots in Burma, Thailand and Vietnam and have never faultered, I also use a speedbox pop up softbox and a couple shoot through brollies and it is more than sufficient for my needs.

I have a few spare batteries and they do last well, overall I am well impressed with the quality and reliability of the Godox kit.

You missed something, the TTL version has an X1 receiver built in that works with Sony, Canon and Nikon versions of their transmitter the X1 but is only Nikon TTL via the hotshoe. V860II is the latest version of flashgun, also can work with all 3 of their triggers and is only whatever brand via hotshoe. The 600 can be triggered by all 3 and has no hotshoe mount for obvious reasons - own them all and very happy.

Thanks guy's it's looking more likely I may go for this kit, once I sell my other kit, I'm thinking going down the Essential route though, more for it being a UK based company and they now have 2 year warranty.

@ Mike you mention this "You missed something, the TTL version has an X1 receiver built in that works with Sony, Canon and Nikon versions of their transmitter the X1 but is only Nikon TTL via the hotshoe" maybe I'm having a blonde moment here (or grey in my case) when you say the X1 is only Nikon TTL via hotshoe isn't that the only way it should work, or are you referring to something else ? Cheers Tel

the V860II & AD360II come in a Nikon, Canon and soon a Sony version. They have a hotshoe fitting giving the dedication to that brand, but their receiver can work from all 3 versions of the godox trgigger. By using their wireless trigger for Canon it can work TTL with the Nikon version of the light. When I was demoing thses a few weeks ago i had each version of the trigger and you can see the light easily switching between brands depending on who is using them

Ah see what you mean now Mike, thanks :)
