Question regarding Onone Raw and Luminar

I know this is going to sound stupid, but I have had both Onone RAW 2020 and Luminar for sometime, but not really used either, the stupid bit is, when I open an image in both programs, I can never close the image, without the whole program shutting down, I can't see any option for closing the image, the same as you can in PS and LR there is obviously a perfectly logical explanation, could someone please enlighten me.

In On1 you simply "Exit" the program. There is no "save" command, The next time you open the program the image you were working on should have all your adjustments applied.
As far as I can see, the same applies to Luminar.
Remember that, in both programs, what you are looking at is your original raw file with corrections applied. The original raw file is preserved, so you can always go back to it.
The only time any additional image is created is if you "Export" from On1 or "Save to Disk" in Luminar.
