Hi,

I'm trying to understand the division between categories. For the "sharing" forums, is there any overlap with photos uploaded directly to member galleries?
- in other words, if I want a critique of anything I put in the member gallery, do I have to upload it again to the relevant sharing gallery, or can I link to it somehow?

This may seem a silly question but my brain is addled from jobchasing. :thinking:
 
you are correcrt in the fact that you put a phot in your gallery then upload it to the relevent thread .. welcome by the way
 
When you upload it to your members gallery you will see some code written underneath it. That's what you insert into the thread you create elsewhere on the forum. I can't remember if the code already has tags or not, if not you'll have to add them to your forum post.

When I start a new thread, I see that the options say I can't post attachments (or edit the post, either)...so how can I upload from the member gallery?
 
When looking at your photo, make sure the photo details are showing.
If not, click on the button to the right of the photo details heading.
This will open up the keywords, linked thumbnail, bb code field.

Copy the BB Code, then paste it into your new thread.
To test if it is showing, click the go advanced, or preview post button.
