Just bought one on eBay and wondering if it's faulty, or meant to be like this...
When it's at 75mm, putting pressure on the zoom ring seems to place friction on the focus ring, and the focus locks up.
When I hold the camera up, with my left hand supporting the lens (on the zoom ring), the focus basically can't work because of the pressure of my hand on it! It only works if I don't touch the zoom ring.
I also can't hold the focus ring (because it spins) - so it makes it pretty awkward to hold!
Is this normal? I'm guessing not.
