Been out this morning with my new-to-me Leica X2 and got some puzzling results!
Using in the 'street' with variable lighting from bright sun to heavy shadow, I set the shutter to 1/500th and aperture to f4.
I then went into the ISO menu and selected 'Auto ISO' with the intention of allowing the camera to change ISO according to the conditions, whist retaining my shutter and aperture settings, (basically what I often did with my Nikon & Olympus bodies and do with my little Ricoh GR III).
However, much to my surprise some of the photos have come out extremely under-exposed and with the ISO set to 100!
Checking the camera when now at home I see that I cannot seem to set the camera to STAY on Auto ISO, after I select it and attempt to take a photo, going back into the settings shows it back at ISO 100.
Here's an example from out in the street/daylight, toward a shopfront:-

I assume that I am missing something in the menu as there would be no point in having an Auto ISO setting that couldn't be used.
Would really appreciate some guidance here.
