Went and bought a 360afd this afternoon, great improvement on my on camera flash.

Just noticed when in TTL and the head pointing forward and level the lcd displays the ISO and FSTOP info, but a soon as i tilt the head upwards to do a ceiling bounce that info is not displayed anymore.

Is this the same on all the 360afd's or could mine be faulty?

Thanks for any help.

Yours is not faulty mine does exactly the same, I have just tried it as I have never noticed it before

When you're pointing the gun directly at the subject, the exposure and range is easily calculated based on distance and the inverse square law.

But as soon as you point the gun somewhere else, which could be anything from a nice white ceiling to the moon, the camera/flash has no idea what the likely exposure will be so the display is disabled.

I noticed this the other day on mine which i have been using for a while and never noticed before.
I thought it was playing up and getting on a bit

Guess not then

Thanks again for the answers.

Bye the way can anyone tell me which diffuser cap will fit on the 360afd.

Again thanks.
