That nice Mr Brown will tell you that it isn't printing money as they aren't going to print any extra.

They are just going to take over a load of debt from the banks by using money that doesn't exist.

So it is a good thing really. Not at all inflationary and completely different to what that nasty Mr Mugabe does.

There was a point a few months back where a 2 pence coin was worth 3 pence in scrap, but it's illegal to scrap them :nono:

Really? There seems to be very little of anything but steel in modern coins. Have you noticed how they all became magnetic?

I was amazed when these copper looking things were sticking to my blackberry case.
