Yes
what do you lot all think about goin and getting qualifications in photography

bearing in mind it would be very difficult thing for me to do due to my sever anxiety would it be worth while or is experiance best thing to go for and maybe
offer a pro tog me to be there studio hand for a while then maybe take a few shots but means i could watch them work and see how they do things ?

ive been thking about this for a while and i still dont know what ill do what do
you all think ?

from what I've seen, no-one ever asks a tog for his/her (paper) qualifications
people are more interested in portfolios - what can you actually do

it's refreshing to see a profession where skill is more important than paper!

While this is true, it can be a useful marketing angle as it shows (prior to anyone visiting and seeing an image) that 'someone' thinks you're good

Unless you're after being a Pro and would use it as a marketing tool - don't bother

great

i would like to go pro eventually but if i need the qualifactions i can get them then rather than making my anxiety worse for now

ill see if i can find a tog in my area that would be willing to have me as a studio hand and just gain abit of experience

Jade if your thinking about a qualification I can recommend Norton College in Sheffield, its got a good reputation and facilities, and its not far from you as its south Sheffield.
