Hi everyone, I am currently wading through the mess that is my photo folder and am trying to get some sort of organisation, since I seem to have about 3 or 4 copies of each photo in various different places :bang:

Anyway, my question is about Photoshop Elements Organiser. At the moment, the organiser shows every single photo I have on my computer, including all the silly little pictures I have saved from the internet, old photos from years ago etc. Is it possible to specify just one folder to show up in the organiser? So that just my favourite photos are there, and all the other stuff is filtered out?

Does this make any sense?? :lol::lol:
 
Hi

The easiest way I found to NOT have elements pull in all photos, I set up another folder for 'the other photos' in a different place than my Pictures - eg in My videos and make sure elements is pulling from My Pictures only - in the settings / preferences section.

Thanks! I think I have managed to sort it, I did a major clear out of the photos in the organiser and then did like you suggested. :)
