I have 1st Generation iPad which do not have camera, and will be buying a brand new iPad in a month or two, as soon as funding is ready.

I downloaded and installed Microsoft's OneNote on my Windows, with the aim of downloading and installing the OneNote app on iPad when the time comes.

Just wondering, so I know if I should keep going or know if I am wasting my time with an idea, as I can't test my theory yet.

I can copy the link to OneNote page, and create a QR by using Adobe InDesign, then print it out.

The idea is to glue the QR into a book (ie: bullet journal book), and with iPad, read the QR which I hope should then take me to the OneNote on the cloud.

Could it actually work? Or is it not going to work? I can't test my theory yet as I have not yet got a new iPad.

Why not just have a shortcut on your tablet pointed at the OneNote URL?

Thank you for the suggestion but you missed the point.

The point is to print out a QR link and glue it to a book, bullet journal, diary, homework, and any other paper based objects.

I know that QR codes will lead you directly to website, or straight to the webpage you want, or even directly to the .JPG image itself.

But am I correct in understanding that OneNote is actually on the cloud not on your own computer, so a QR link would take us right to the OneNote page?

Surely that as it is Microsoft's own, would the link be stopped because of the need to use username and password?
