PW Mini and flex help

I've just picked up a set of mini and flex's and currently having a play maybe I'm missing something but if i dial the flash EV up or down on the camera the flash exposure is still the same, like wise if i dial it up or down on the flash it still stays the same, what am i doing wrong? :bang::bang:

Sounds like a question for the PW experts. Who did you buy them from?

I may be wrong as I haven't had a play with them yet but I would have thought you would have had to make EV adjustments from your speedlight or separate commander (such as the Nikon SU-800). I was under the impression they took the IR signal from the flash and converted it to a radio wave for transmission to the remote units which is how the Radio Poppers work but as I say I may be talking out of my arse.

purchased them from Warehouse expresses got a min and three flex's and cant dial down the ev on any of them so i think they may well be going back

...and if you are really nice to me with a real example of why I should have bought from you in the first place, I promise to buy everything from you in the future. In fact, I might just send these PWs back to WEX for a refund and place an order with you.
