Putting a slideshow from LR onto DVD?

Hi all.
I recently attended a wedding and did a few shots for the happy couple.
I have created a slideshow in Lightroom CC, and they would like it on a DVD which can be played on a DVD player (rather than on a computer).
The output from LR is a single MP4 file.
What is the best (preferably free) software to convert/burn this to DVD?
It's not something I see myself doing very often, so don't really want to spend a lot on software.

Imgburn is one which I have considered, but there are a lot of reports of the software installing other (unwanted) programmes when downloaded.
It seems this is a problem with quite a few of the free burning programmes.
I might bite the bullet and pay for one, as I don't want a load of malware on my PC.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
Any more, preferably mal/bloatware free?

ImgBurn will only install other software if you allow it.
I've seen this comment before and it's not something I've experienced.
Read the install instructions carefully and make sure you reject any additional programs that are offered and it's not a problem.
"Bonus" programs are a feature of most "free" software, but you don't have to install them if you don't want them.

Ahh, OK. Thanks for that.
I'm not bothered by other programmes which are offered, it's more the unwanted, uninvited programmes I worry about.
I'll take a look right now.

Well, I downloaded it and tried to install, and Norton blocked the install saying there is something included called "PUA.opencandy", which it deems as unsafe.
Hmmm.

If you’re on Windows? can you not do it with Windows Movie Maker, or Windows Media Player, they are pre installed on the system.

Put a disc in the drive. Put the file in videos. Open Miedia Player, point it to videos, drag the file into the burn area, burn.

I have Win 10, and windose movie maker is apparently not included !
Tried Imgburn again, and even on a copy downloaded from their official link is full of warnings from Norton, so I'll skip that one for now I think.

Use Media Player, if you haven't used it before it’s in ...All apps…Windows Accessories…Windows media player.

Then follow as last post.

Try it, nowt to lose sept a disc.

Found it, tried it, and didn't waste a disc. Thank you.
Not sure whether it will play on any DVD player though.
I have a Sony home cinema 3d player, which plays anything, so will need to try it on another one too,

It's been a while since I installed ImgBurn and although I was aware that it could install junk alongside the program, I'd never had a problem.
Out of interest I tried installing it on my laptop, on which I'd never installed it.
I too had a warning (through Avira) when attempting to download it from the ImgBurn site, but I then tried downloading it from a different mirror site (Softpedia) and received no warning and it installed without problems.
So it looks like it depends on which mirror site you download from, although one would expect the originating site to have been the most reliable.

Good call on using Media Player.
It's often easy to overlook the obvious when attempting to do something new.
