Hey guys, I took my Mju 1 to Miles Kane concert last night in Bath and I shot some HP5+

I modified the DX code on the can with this trick : http://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-film-slr-discussion/200819-pushing-film-first-timer.html basically used to sand paper to remove one box to make the camera think its ISO 800.

Now, my college darkroom has Champion Promicrol in liquid form. The time sheet states that HP5+ shot at 400 iso should be dev'd for 11 minutes at 20c with 1/9 dilution.

So how long should I develop my roll shot at 800 iso (hopefully) ???

Cheers

I add about 1/3rd of the total time per stop, tends to work with most developers.

Okay cheers, any difference with fix time or?? I'm quite new to this!

NO!.....if you push/pull film then it is simply the developer which makes the difference not the other chems.

Adjust the time and/or strength of your developer solution and go through the other processing like any other film.

Thanks so much, would you say 14 and a half minutes is good?
