I have an Olympus E-M1 Mk2 and am quite happy with it, especially for travel. The 12-40 Pro lens and a telephoto are fine. For the last couple of months I have had on loan from my brother-in-law a Nikon Z5 with the 24-200 lens which he has now offered to me for a really quite cheap price. Nothing worrying about his offer, simply that he's moved on to other hobbies. ? I've enjoyed using the Z5 for landscape and close-up photos also some night shots.
Do I jump at this and use two systems one for travel and street stuff and the other for the rest.? Sell the Olympus gear? I don't want to miss out on a great opportunity as he will sell it on if I decline.
Anyway, grateful for any thoughts?

I went from an Olympus EM5 MK2 to a Sony full frame body and have never regretted it.

I hated the noise in Olympus shots, even at low ISO's.

I say go for it.

If you go looking I think you'll see an improvement in dynamic range and overall image quality, so there's that, but it depends what your own standards are and how closely you look. If you get the Nikon you'll possibly see an increase in bulk and maybe even lens prices too? So there's that to think about too.

Do you really want to buy the Nikon kit or is it just gear acquisition syndrome :D but as you've had your hands on the Nikon for a while now you should be in a good position to be able to think about it and make a choice... So good luck choosing :D

I have FF and MFT for years but I find I'm using MFT less and less.

If its a good deal and you can cope with two systems then go for it .
I use two Fuji's an XT-1 and an XE-2 and switch between the two depending on what I am doing and where I am going.
if I am just going out for a walk I take the XE-2 with either a 27mm pancake lens or 18-55, its lot less intrusive and easier to carry than the XT-1 with battery grip and a plethora of lenses.

I use a Nikon D500 plus lenses for certain things, and have Olly stuff (E-M1MkII and EM10Mk4) for others. The Olympus kit is for when I don't want the bulk and weight of the Nikon gear, mainly out and about and when using a film camera too, whilst the Nikon stuff is for when I am concentrating on certain subjects. If you can afford the Nikon outfit then go with both, horses for courses.

I'd keep both, then again I swap between differnt cameras and formats all have thier plus and minus points :D

Unless you need the cash keep both. The Z5 does seem on paper to be a very good camera and it’s more likely that Olympus would exit the market than Nikon but who knows.

I would stick with the Olympus for now and use the cash to change should you wish to when its not Hobsons choice.
If you buy it then fancy something else will you be ok selling on the bargain gear bought from a family member.
You can't beat smaller lighter gear for travel and I happily print A3 from my Olympus and Panasonic m4/3 gear. I am very satisfied with the photos from the G9 and 12-100, would have to be something very special to make me change.
