Hi, does anyone know if there's a potential to see any puffins at this time of year at Flamborough head? Really keen to take some shots but would like to know if there are some worth shooting before I make the trip.

I was there last week and spotted a couple dozen Puffins.

The highlight for me was viewing a Peregrine perched on the cliffs amongst the Kittiwakes! It had become a resident for the last 6 weeks apparently, so with any luck may still be hanging around. It was perched just above the first viewing platform North from the shop (RSPB staff may have it spotted for people). Good luck with the Puffins if you go.

I've to Brampton cliffs today, there were a few puffins on the cliffs at furthest north viewing platform (jubilee). Was nice to see them but photography wise they were too low and too far away for a frame filling shot (300mm f4 with 1.4TC).
