Well done on these. You've got everything an editor would want. Action, celebration, some glamour and a bit of carnage. Plus a good overall view of the bad weather which helps to tell the story.

Thanks for all the nice comments, also have pics in a couple more papers from this week so a busy week really, just trying to get noticed and hopefully one day it will take off
So didnt get paid? Even with local newspaper rates they would have been worth a few quid.
Always nice to see your images in print and with a byline. However should at anytime in the future you decide to turn it into revenue it will be very hard. Editors will just say we've never paid before and only iused them as they were free.
On a more positive note you are proving your worth with these people so maybe you could negociate a deal to cover these events? Just a thought and maybe something to work on.
