Yes
There seem to be quite a few different triggers with this designation - just wondering, can you mix and match them...

dunno, an interesting thought though, I bought two sets from different people at different times but they look the same (and have identical circuitry) I haven't tried the different looking ones.

in theory any that use the same freq band will work as the signal isn't encoded or confirmed

In theory, yes, they should. I've spotted some nifty versions that don't seem to be widely available, but they just seem to sell the receiver

i have two different makes of recievers I have the 2 original ones i bought and then had to buy another extra one which is a different name/make and they work fine :)

thats if i have understood what you were asking lol.

I think that's what I was asking

Most of the different types, no, in short. Annoyingly enough.

The products from different suppliers or even the same suppliers over time seem to vary, so there isn't really even the possibility for drawing up a compatibility chart :(

Generally though, as long as you get ones that look the same, you should be good - the only ones that this doesn't apply to is the first design, which had 3 or 4 revisions - the AAA ones I've had from several different places all work together fine for example.

There are news ones out now that are a different frequency, so it's only going to get more confusing...

Am I right in saying that the Cactus V2's are the same too? Which ones are the V1, is that the AA battery versions? The reason I ask is I am in the market for some but will be using with a canon flash and the V1's have issues apparently.
