Can anyone tell me how to make a more dynamic (not sure if that is the word) font for my name to put in my images. I currently have a plain gery and orange words that can be seen in these pics here: http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=171894


I want something that is more interesting but not too much. I think I would like to keep the same colours though as that's what I have always used.

go on a site such as this and choose a font you like, they're all free to download too :)
 
I'll be honest. I think it's OK as it is. If anything, I'd lose the two tone colour, but that's my very humble opinion.

Do you want something flashy that will detract from your image? (Genuine question - not rhetoric!) I guess it depends on whether you want people to notice your name/website, or your image.

I can give you a few tips as to how to do this, but only in Photoshop CS3. Not used Elemets since 5, and I'm useless with any other graphics software! It is fairly straightforward.

Let me know if you have CS3 and I'll throw up some ideas. Well... :puke: not literally...

I would really like it if you gave me a few ideas. :thumbs: I have CS3 so that's ok.


I can't find anything right now that's like what I am after. I want something maybe semi transparent but not too flashy that it will detract from the image.
 
What folder should additional fonts be saved in so that they can be later used in photoshop?
Sorry if this sounds daft:shrug:

go to the FAQ section on the link above, it has how to do it for macs and pc's
