Yes
I bought Photoshop elements 10 a few weeks back, and i'll be totally honest.
I haven't a clue how to use it!:bonk:
Can someone recommend a good book/guide?
Anything from beginner upwards i guess would be what i need.
Seen a few on Play.com (seem cheaper and free delivery too);

An introduction to Photoshop Elements 10 by R A Penfold...£5.18

Photoshop Elements 10 in simple steps by Joli Ballew...£8.07

Photoshop elements 10 in easy steps by Nick Vandome...£8.15

are any of these good ones? or any other recommendations?

Unfortunately none of my local libraries stock any elements books!

I recommend Barbara Brundage's Photoshop Elements 10 the Missing Manual. While it doesn't cover everything in Elements, it certainly covers most of it.

The Photoshop Elements 10 Book for Digital Photographers by Scott Kelby and Matt Kloskowski focuses on just those parts of Elements that photographers need, but skip the chapter intros - Kelby's sense of humour is atrocious.

Matt Kloskowsi's Layers tells you everything you need to know about using layers in Elements and PS, and some things that you don't need to know.

How to Cheat in Photoshop Elements 10 by David Asch and Steve Caplin tells you how to create composite pictures, e.g. taking elements from one photo and dropping them into another seamlessly, plus a whole lot more.

Photoshop Elements Drop-Dead Lighting Techniques by Barry Huggins is useful if you can't afford expensive lighting setups but still want to get great-looking shots.
