Just done a slide show with sound track BUT the sound when played back at clients was distorted? anyone have this problem?

I have done a few slideshows in ProShow Gold and Producer over the past few months, the music plays fine on the PC (and on iPhone conversion), but like yourself when played via a HD dvd player and an older DVD player, I either get distorted sound or no sound. The same dvd does play at friends houses. The problem with this it that you cannot guarantee that it will play for clients (friends at the moment, hoping to start weddings later in the year). I need to get onto Photodex, see if they have any fixes !

I didn't run into that problem. How are you outputting your show and which version do you have?

I have 3.2.2047
There are two audio setting one PCM and one MP3 I did the MP3 the cust has a new DVD as his old one will not play any DVD apart from pressed ones.

Hmm, not sure I'll be much help. I'm on 4.1 and I output content to files for DVD authoring. I output HD as my source, Handbrake it and then bring it into Nero. I find the Nero transcoding quality better than ProShows, the DVD was slightly sharper. As for the audio, I'm not sure what to suggest. Do you use ProShow for DVD authoring as well?
