So what props etc do people use in the studio to help with family and baby photos?

Im thinking of getting some foam blocks and getting some covers made up for the as opposed to a big bean bag.

The obvious sheep skin rug ill be purchasing too.

Do people use any other things?

Thanks

Think of things babies will look cute sticking out of. It's the juxtaposition that works.

I use a baby hammock, which parents absolutely love. Hand made hats sourced from on the web.

Baskets, suitcases, towel bales the list goes on. I try to do five or more looks for each newborn session and a nice range of textured throws in natural colours. You have more chance of selling if the babies are in a different poses. Also will mention a decent heater to keep them snug and warm for natural sleeping poses.

False flowers for little girls, producing nice candid natural images.

Hope that helps.
