I don't know if anyone is aware of this, but it seems the Government are proposing to introduce an ID Card system for people who wish to take photographs in public.
As if there isn't enough red tape around in the world.
There is an e-Petition set up on the 10 Downing Street web site.
Anyone wishing to have a look and perhaps sign the petition will find it at the following URL:
