Proofing before 160 page book

hi i want to put a book together with a assortment of my images so far its about 150 pages but how can i make sure that i have them all the right (i have done a few of theses books now and i can not seem to get the balance right some images are either to dark or to light or not enough contrast


is there a answer ?:shrug:
i have tried (shutterfly or my publisher)
 
What software are you using? and what basic editing are you doing to the images before importing into the book?
I would suggest viewing the images in bridge if you have it, put all the images for one page up and have a look how they compare for exposure colour etc.

yes i have bridge! that sounds like a good idea its cs3 that i have ill try that thanks

When you have the 6 (or whatever) pics open in bridge if one is darker you can just double click it and edit it in photoshop to match (keep checking back to bridge with a good image open to compare)
