I used ColorMunki to profile the monitor on my iMac very successfully until today. Having upgraded the OS I am now unable to profile the monitor because the application crashes after a few seconds of the profiling process. Has anyone else had this problem and, if so, how do I solve the problem, please?

The device is the colormunki display and the OS is macOS Sierra version 10.12.

There is an update for the iProfiler software compatible with 10.2.1. It offered the updated software when I launched the app. Did get an initial crash but restarted the software form scratch ( Closed and relaunch ) Software is 2.4.0.1

The update I am offered is 1.1.3 which seems to have more to do with Windows than Mac OS.

Go to the X-Rite site and go to downloads. You should then see V 2.4 at the top of the list. Now I assume ( not always the best thing to do ) that the Monki used the same software at the Profiler. I'm not at home at the moment and issuing the phone for this. If you can't find the page let me know and I'll track it down latter this morning

Just to be sure I ran the software again this morning but plugged the device into a different USB port and, lo and behold, all went well and a new profile was compiled.

Thanks for trying to help, it was much appreciated.

That's interesting. I had an incident just after I upgraded where the profiler was not recognised by the USB port. Now it was via a hub ( to many hard drives) Reconnecting and restarting solved the problem Glad all is OK now
