Forgot to say I use mine dailyish being on the What Is It Thread all the time for taking my shots in, folds away for easy storage

To be honest, if you've already got a flash, radio triggers and a tripod, I'd be more tempted by one of these:

http://www.stevesphotoshop.co.uk/light_tent_cube_80cm.html

which is basically what I have.

Chat up your local signwriter for some off cuts of black, white and clear perspex and you're in business.

Edit:
Posted before I'd seen Dave's comments btw!

Cheers Mark. I did look at those but I quite like the idea of using lamps and might not have a flashgun much longer.

Thanks Dave. I've got the maplins lightbox but it doesn't give me the option of a white base and background.

I just use paper/thin card cut to size, in my Maplin PS, the paper/card I get is 36" x 24" from the stationers for a quid or less, so it does the base and back with a nice curve it it,held in place with clothes pegs at the top, when it gets grubby turn it over

If it is only small products, an A3 sheet of thick white paper, bent into a "U" shape but laic down so the opening ot the "U" is facing the camera, a couple of pencils and platercine or blue tack to keep the shape. Light from behind with either a desk lamp or speedlight. You would be surprised at the result (or not as it is a perfect infinity curve).

The stand & lightbox were fine, but the lamps used to heat & smell of burning,so i did not think they were safe.

Lencarta product table is very useful. More sturdy than bits of paper. I also bought some perspex sheet quite cheaply to use as backgrounds and bases.

I'm surprised Garry hasn't been in to diss the lights ;)

I wouldn't touch a light cube. Played around with one for ages and everything looks boring in it.
