The images as posted are far too small to see any noticeable difference when processing, however as they stand a levels adjustment helps. Not a lot you can do about the burnt highlights in the reflective panels on their coats, it may be possible to reduce them a little in post.
If trying to rescue for your own personal use then that should be fine, if for any other purpose it is a shame you cannot go back and reshoot.
I guess you didn't shoot raw which would have given you a bit more headroom.
Also trying to understand your settings, why a high ISO when using flash?
