I made some huge mistakes on my Santa pictures... If I post them up, can anyone help recover them to a reasonable standard...

What size do I need to post them....

Thanks

What mistakes did you make... Errors in the taking stage or errors in the processing stage?

Taking, need to know if processing can help...

Without seeing what you have I don't think anyone will be able to give an answer. Is it possible for you to post an example? What is the end use?

The images as posted are far too small to see any noticeable difference when processing, however as they stand a levels adjustment helps. Not a lot you can do about the burnt highlights in the reflective panels on their coats, it may be possible to reduce them a little in post.

If trying to rescue for your own personal use then that should be fine, if for any other purpose it is a shame you cannot go back and reshoot.

I guess you didn't shoot raw which would have given you a bit more headroom.

Also trying to understand your settings, why a high ISO when using flash?

Forgot to adjust it when went in side. Beginners mistakes... So annoying... It was our holiday... The kids got to meet the real Santa and I got my settings wrong....

Try a simple levels adjustment.... not perfect but a slight improvement.
