I've got a photoshoot on Wednesday for an indie 'Vintage Fashion' company (I know, how hip).

I know the girl quite well, and I know she's going to definitely want the kind of look that looks as if it's been shot on some kind of Fuji slide film/digital SLR hybrid, but the thing is I'm not so sure how to go about processing.

I know, I know, I could probably easily google it and find some kind of tutorial that shows me step by step what to do to get my images to look exactly like theirs, but I don't want that. I want your input - show me some images you've processed that kind of have the look you think I'm going for, tell me the sorts of things you did.

It would be a massive help.

You should have mentioned what processing software you have. You can google "vintage look" and get some info and also there are vintage actions that give that look with a click of a button...

You could download a Lightroom trial and then get some presets, I have some for download on my blog, although there are loads of free ones..

Sometimes it's easier to create a custom one in lightroom specifically for your shot, just use split toning, lift the blacks etc..

What exactly do you mean by indie 'Vintage Fashion'? different people have different ideas.
