So i've started doing some home processing with B&W and it came out ok

Going to get A C41 3 bath kit shortly but wanted to know if I could process E6 the same way to give it a cross process look. Have a load of 120 Extachrome film so wanted to have a play with some crazy colours :bonk:

Anyone done this and have any examples

Tried it with Velvia 100 and got a severe colour cast:

Part of the fun is the different results from other films.

Make sure you do it at the end of the life of the chemicals, at exhaustion - so you don't contaminate any C-41 film you want to process with C-41 chemicals.

Think the kit i'll use is a 1 shot mix so should be ok :)

Which one is that? All the kits that I am aware of in the UK - Tetenal, Fuji Hunt and the Rollei kits (the latter is just repackaged Fuji Hunt) are all multiple use till exhaustion kits.

(if you click through to my flickr, there's a few other examples - they're all pretty gash, so I'll not inflict them directly on everyone ;))

I used to run a 12-15 C41 films through the 1L Tetenal, then "retire" the chemicals for "x-processing" duties.

I bought a 1l kit and used half as normal then retired it as TBY suggests. Mainly because X-Pro film can royally b****r your chemicals

I used to use C41 and process E6 that used to throw up some good results
